I’ve lived in Fresno, California my entire life- although my mind has expanded far beyond Fresno. In the past year I’ve gotten to know a lot about who I am and what I believe in. From getting my first job, to going through a long-term breakup, I’ve had a rollercoaster year. I think that our experiences in life shape us to be who we are meant to be.
“Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it”
Charles R. Swindoll
This quote has meant a lot to me and helped me grow emotionally throughout the years. I think it’s important for young people to know they’re in control of their lives.
I’ve found a great love for music, giving me the desire to attend any concert imaginable.

I learned to be bold with fashion. Using it as a device for appreciation by wearing a sari to my high school prom.

I’ve always held family close to my heart. Feeling proud to be apart of my family- like when my special needs sister won prom queen at school.

I’ve been so blessed with my life so far, and I’m excited to make so many more memories. I want to grow through this class and the opportunities it gives me to express myself. I want this blog to be for aspiring travelers, for my family and friends to see my views and for my own expression.
